Be Silent

Come and Rest in the presence of your King, to be completely silent
There is no expectations lay everything down
He is waiting in the secret place to speak to you softly
Do not fear what lies ahead but rest assure he will hide you in the shadows of his wings
What holds you back from experiencing his love
Is is pain, pride, fear or not knowing
Life is full of beauty and the unknown
May you put your trust in a King who has an excellent plan for you
Still not assured make a step towards the door of life
Everything will change all you will need is patience and time
Resume a new position towards a narrow path
It will not be easy but worth all the trembeling
Greatness will proceed through the flames of fire
As dust you were formed then purged for his Glory
Expect to be re-arranged and formed like clay

Into his likeness and beauty you were created

Blessings, Erica Hart

Its all Lace and Fabric

I had such a great time today doing a number of things, one of them was making this beautiful scarf!  I was so glad to create my creation with Jesus and my best-friend as we listened to Ocean by Hill-song! Which I love by the way!!! So today with a little help of my friend I got some great styling tips! This infinity scarf is half lace and half floral print.  Lace is really in and I have not seen this design yet anywhere, maybe you have?  Also I am taking orders if you would like one.  Here are the pictures from today. Enjoy!

Dinner is Served

I love making the time to cook a good meal, you know the ones where you get to continue to keep eating even after you have ate it once?  Ya, ya its called left-overs.  But really it gives you a day or two depending on how much extra there is to feast on.  If I really wanted to go all crazy I would make dinner every night, I mean thats what I'm suppose to do right? Well some days that does not happen, so you get left-overs or you may need to do what we call make your own dinner! At any rate I am having fun making meals and really I don't think I'm half bad, well at least I think its good.  What I baked tonight Turkey Spaghetti. I even took some pics! Here take a look!

Here's the recipe
Turkey cooked with olive oil and Johnny's seasoning
Add Onions
Green Peppers, Red and Yellow
Dice up some tomatoes
Whats in the Sauce? Garlic Just how I like it!!
Mix it together and let it cook on low.
Make up some noodles and then you are all done!

Pillow Talk

Today I decided to make a pillow, it looks rather nice on my couch!  The process was not to hard but with a toddler I was a mess!  There are days when you just want to go in a room and shut the door and leave everyone else on the other side, well thats just what I did!! Hahaha most of you moms will know about this as well, don't worry my daughter was on the outside of the door knocking and making noise. Why is it every time I really want to do something she is sitting right on my lap, climbing on me or reaching up for me to hold her hmmm.. Still trying to figure this needy thing out.  I still managed to finish my project, yay enjoy!

Freedom of a Child

Today I created a little drawing with the phrase Freedom Like a child.  Then It had me pondering this verse with Jesus from Mark 10:15 "Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it."  What does it mean to be free?  To receive like a child?  As I watched my daughter play today I was reminded that she could just go down the slide over and over again, she had not a care in the world.  We were in a confined play area, not to big but she knew that I was there.  This reflection reminds me of the Lord and how he loves us.  My daughter knows I am her provider, she knows I will not leave her and that if she needs anything I am her source.  This is how I believe the Lord looks at us, he wants us to be his children, to know him and to be secure in his ability to take care of us.  I believe freedom looks like complete assurance that we know who takes care of us, so we can be free and laugh, play and just live.  I also know as you get older there is more responsibility and sometimes you can have the weight of your world on your shoulders.  This is a perfect opportunity to remember who we serve and take some time to reflect on really what it means to be childlike.  To observe and just be in the moment without a care in the world, knowing that your father in heaven who loves you has a plan for you, to give you a hope and future that is beyond amazing.  Is he truly your source? What does it look like to receive the Kingdom of God?

Be blessed, xoxo Erica

Give me a New song

So today I wrote a Song.. Usually I won't post them, but am needing to be brave and just let it rip. So here you are.

Here are the lyrics

Give me a new song
make me free again
I just want to be whole
I just want to see again

I've been waiting for change
but you have been waiting for me
To know your heart and purpose
to see

Give me a new song
make me free again
I just want to be whole
I just want to see again

To be still in the Silence
where I can hear your voice again
To be completely quite
Alone and in your Arms again

Give me a new song
make me free again
I just want to be whole
I just want to see again

You guide my soul so kindly
your always right beside me
Making all things new again
Changing perspective to freedom

You gave me a new song
you made me free again
I've been waiting so long
Now I can see again

31 Days of Creating With Jesus

I just arrived home from a fun filled packed weekend with many woman and Jesus who inspired me to the brim! I am excited to be doing a 31 day blog challenge in the month of October in which I will be creating with Jesus!  Each day I will pray for the Lord to Inspired me in a work of Art.  I may write a song, poem, draw something, paint something, sew something, or bake something....  Whatever I do may it be inspired by Jesus for his Glory.  Join me as I get ready to explore my creative side.
